In this respect, the tales are closer to those of the Islamic tradition. The storytellers hold a modified worldview. Their world is not static. Objects can disappear by magical means. Things, people, and animals can shape-shift. In other words, myth comes in and out of nature. We can find Urban Nature Spirits in their element. They are in every tale and every city, in public houses and private homes, filling the very air we breathe.
