“Your Aunt Frances passed away earlier this evening.  That was your Aunt Janie.”

     I felt like I got kicked in the gut, especially for 2:15am.  I tried to stifle a yawn.

     “What did she die of?”

     “They think it was a massive heart attack.  She was walking around the nursing home, and someone heard a scream, and when they went to check, she was on the hallway floor, already gone.”

     “I’m so sorry, Daddy,” I told him about his sister.

     He put his head down and straightened his robe.

     “I’ll call to get us the first plane out...
