I told her what I thought it was, because now, I wasn’t even sure what my name was.  She said an ambulance was on the way.  She also said she’d stay on the phone with me until they got to me.  She tried to keep me talking and I told her I knew I was losing a lot of blood from between my legs, that I thought he cut me, but I wasn’t sure.  I felt my eyes wanting to close, wanting to give up the fight, but she kept me in conversation with stupid questions I didn’t have to think about answering in a correct way.  She saved my life, whoever she was.
