“Just one suitcase.  I try to pack as much in my carry-on as possible.”

     “Me, too.  It’s so much easier that way.”

     I picked up my bag at the carousel and Esther led me out the double doors that led to the garage parking lot.  Quickly, we found her maroon, Ford Expedition SUV, packed my two bags in the back seat, and were on our way.

     “It’ll take us about an hour and a half to get to our destination, Hostellerie de la Sainte Baume, in Riboux.  It’s a Catholic religious home, in the same area as the Grotto of Sainte Baume.”

     “Why am I here?” I asked her.

     “My real name is Esther Magdalene...
