Back then, there weren’t all these in depth background checks and national registries for every crime imaginable.  I thought it was kinda funny that I, the king of unions, didn’t try to dabble in it at all there.  I did my work and came home.  In my younger days, I was always working, what we call a workaholic now, I guess.  There was always something to do.  Getting relocated to here and having the job I did, it afforded me to just sit back and enjoy the life I had been missing out on.”
