I still miss you and feel your absence deeply,

Yet the pain of heartbreak has subsided,

replaced by a gentle acknowledgment

that perhaps this was inevitable.

I still miss you and long for your presence,

Though the ache has eased,

and I recognize the necessity

of this time apart for our growth.

I still miss you and carry the memories of us,

But I've alchemized that longing,

channeled it into crafting my destiny

towards the person I am meant to be.
