With Alex now relocated to Kildare for his six month internship in the archives and both of us saving like crazy and trying to work out ways to afford to rent a place together, which doesn’t leak or smell like a cat lady’s house, there was only one option for a summer holiday together this year.

No, not lovely Tuscany again like last year. Although at least I have some of the photos framed and up on my wall to remind me of sunshine and gelato. No, this July I went off to Sunny Kildare.
