held it out to her. “Will this work?”

She took the shirt, trying not to stare at his broad shoulders. “Thanks,” she said, embarrassed that he had literally given her the shirt off his back. She grabbed her toiletry case and a pair of underwear out of her bag and then slipped past him into the bathroom to clean up.

And then she realized she couldn’t reach the zipper on her dress. She tried and tried but it was just out of reach. Her fingers brushed the zipper once or twice, but there was no way she could pull it down. With clenched teeth, she opened the bathroom door. Nate was stretched out on his bed with his eyes closed. “Help.”

He opened his eyes to see that she was standing at the edge of the bed with her back to him, her hands planted...
