Not only was it dangerous but I didn’t even know the man.

Well, that was what I thought. Until another bill arrived the next day. And this one needed to be paid as soon as possible. I called every number I could find begging them to give me more time, until I started getting angry. That’s when I knew I had to do something. Fast. It was times like these that I wished our parents were still alive. They’d know what to do. I can’t handle this on my own.

I sighed then walked towards my sister’s bedroom with a glass of water in my hand.
