CHAPTER FOURTEEN

This is his chance, Garrett thought. His chance to change the past and make everything work out the way it should've. He had a second chance to be with the woman he always longed for.

Garrett knew where to find Thalia. He drove down to the lake. The same lake he knew Thalia loved so much.

He parked his car a while further and walked towards her.

He saw her in the distance and had to stop himself from running up to her and taking her in his arms.

He walked up to her and called her name,

"Thalia."
