CHAPTER FIFTEEN

It wasn't the same in the apartment anymore. Everything smelled like Paisley, Paisley's laugh still echoed through the rooms, the kitchen still smelled of the pasta she made with Paisley. Paisley’s bed still had blonde strands of hair from Paisley. Rori saw Paisley in the isles of the shop, in the reflection in the bathroom when they’d brushed their teeth together at night before bed. She saw Paisley sitting across her in the small kitchen and talking too much while eating. She saw Paisley when she opened a magazine and she saw an ad for a movie that she knew Paisley would have loved to see with her. She heard Paisley sing while she was cleaning the apartment.
