CHAPTER TEN

Paisley waited until Rori closed the front door to jump and take a shower. She was late. She didn’t want to tell Rori but she actually had an interview that day. She was going to tell her but then she handed her that stupid list.

The thing is Paisley had nothing to wear. All she had was jeans and T-shirts and then that much revealing dress from the other night. She held it up in the air. It would have to do.

She got dressed quickly and headed down stairs. She was met with Rori looking at her confused.

“Why are you are still here?” Paisley asked.

“My car’s not working so I called in sick,” Rori said and looked confused. “Why are you wearing that?”
