Dear Father,

If I am missing or gone or dead…or dismembered, disemboweled…..

“Damn,” I swore out loud.  I quickly crossed out the aforementioned vivid descriptions.  I knew I had gone overboard even though my father is the police chief and that being said it was in his job description to have seen and witnessed firsthand acts of brutal murder and other such things that make normal individuals skin crawl.

Dear Father,

If I am missing or dead please know I love you.  Do not search for me because you will not find me, I have chosen to be a willing sacrifice to attempt to save you.
