Days passed.  It became obvious that Lucky and Sally would most likely remain with Miss Casey.  There were no more calls about kittens and of course Miss Casey became more and more attached to them.

     Lucky and Sally still followed Miss Casey, Keno and Sophie all over the property.  Lucky was never quite the same after the accident and any loud noise, vehicle or stranger would send her under cover!  Sally evidently had decided strangers meant someone disappeared, so naturally she was on Lucky's heels.  This action was not missed by Miss Casey, but she didn't know what to do about it.
