The three friends decided to go to a quaint little diner not far from the Police Station.  As they walked through the door there were quite a few people already there with only a few vacant tables.  There was a buzz of conversation going throughout the  diner.  Heads turned as they walked in and suddenly all was quiet.  Several people jumped up out of their chairs and approached them, Miss Rosalie spoke up "Oh my goodness, Miss Casey, we just heard what happened ( she motioned with her hand to include most of the people in the diner, being a relatively small town, most folks at least know of each other).
