Mallory

The letter Mallory had started writing to Theresa that afternoon was still unfinished.  Mallory dug the page out of her purse.  It was a relief to confess her feelings for Grant.

It’s not like I was looking for a boyfriend or anything.  He’s so cute, you wouldn’t believe it if you saw him.  And he makes me feel so grown up.  I can’t wait for you to meet him.  Do you think he’s too old?  22 isn’t that old, is it?  I’ll be 18 in September and then we’ll only be four years apart.  My parents are four years apart but then, they aren’t much of an example are they?
