"I had a ..." Huntsman began, but trailed off. "One of the previous Huntsmen helped smuggle a German rocket scientist out from under the noses of the Russians. Did your family ever talk about how your great-grandfather got to America?"

"Not really, no. He died when I was young, so I got the second and third hand versions of the story."

Huntsman remained quiet after Kara finished. "I've found something. Sure enough, Doctor Funken. 1946. The Huntsman who operated in Europe during the war seems to have escorted him and his wife to Cobalt City."

"My grandpa was born in 1947, in Cobalt City." Now it was Kara's turn to go silent. "So, does that mean my great-grandfather was an evil mad scientist who made ex-president death-bots?"
