After you’ll die,

For you, how many will cry?

But what does it matter,

When your ashes, they’ll scatter?

Or if they bury you deep,

What memories of you, will they keep?

So, why do you care,

About the meaning of a sidelong glare?

Why are you worrying,

For the things they’re whispering?

Will you change for them?

Will they understand what you’ll become?

Why do you let hope brew,

For those with a limited life view?

Live for your sake,

Life is a give-and-take.

Don’t let others decide for you,

Demand respect that’s your due.

There’s no wisdom in loving,

When you love the unforgiving.
