Yesterday my husband pissed me off. 

Like raging, I wanted him ‘on another continent pronto’ pissed me off. 

Before you freak out and assume he cheated or broke the law, no. We planned a trip to see his family this weekend. I’ve been swamped with work and household management and looking ahead to September, there isn’t going to be much time to get the little things done. On Sunday he offered up the idea that it would be fine if I stayed home. Knowing we were going to celebrate his mom’s birthday, I had some guilt. I told him I’d think about it.

Yesterday I took a look at the disaster of a playroom, the lesson planning I still needed to get done and the list of “to do’s” on my fridge that hadn’t been crossed off....
