This may have been the best Hogmanay party we’ve ever thrown. It was definitely the biggest one. Thankfully our neighbours on both sides were away so we didn’t get any complaints about noise.

After dinner, Marion called to collect Jamie for his teen disco. I waved him off with a sick feeling in my stomach. I wasn’t sure if I was more worried about underage drinking or what he might get up to with Bob’s daughter Alex. She’s a stunning looking girl and seems way more mature than Jamie. She could probably twist him around her little finger if she wanted.
