Today Hannah and I made our annual trip to the craft show in Dublin. As she’s in “big school” now I wouldn’t let her have the day off like last year, much to her annoyance. Instead we went on a Saturday and the place was even more mobbed with crowds than last year, but it was worth it.

Everybody in the Mother Mafia tells me that soon the Real Teen Years will kick in for Jamie and Hannah. They don’t know about Jamie failing exams because of his crush on Amy or his sneaking drinks of alcohol last New Year’s Eve or about him stealing the O’Leary boy’s clothes or the fight he was in with Pat and Paul.
