"I wouldn’t say you’re skeptical,” Sayeva said.

“Not me. But I do have someone in mind.”

“How are you going to convince a skeptic to help us ghostbust a house?" Sayeva asked.

"Leave that to me," Samuel said.

When Jamison walked into the special Gifted Unit training facility, he found a small group of officers running a drill. "If I didn't know better," the detective said dryly, "I'd say this is Athos' work."

"You would be correct."

Jamison turned his head very slowly and found his partner leaning against a far wall.

"You do recall," Jamison remarked, "that suspension includes being barred from the premises?"

"Yet here I am," Samuel said.
