Rory’s date with Max was going amazingly well and she really didn’t want the night to end. They saw a campy horror flick which gave Rory plenty of excuses to curl up under his arm.

When they walked out to the chilly September evening and walked across the cobblestone sidewalks of North Chicopee, Rory turned to Max and said, “So, Jaymi told me there’s a party going on at this kid Jason’s house. Want me to text her and ask for the address? She said we should come by.”

“Um, are you sure Jaymi would want me there?”

“She said to come by so...yeah.”

“Well, okay. Why not?”
