Series Description:
WWI, the Great War, was the beginning of a new era in destruction. As human angst and intelligence grew, so did the advancements of battle technology and the use of trench warfare. Just when civilization thought the worst of humanity was over, it happened a second time, worst than the first.
During these terrible days, the powers that be, began experiments on humanity and their ambition overwhelmed man's capability. We created monsters in search of the perfect weapon.
Bryn Perriman was a man who had lost his entire unit in the first of these two terrible wars, barely evading the gore, he sought shelter in a cave in Austria. There he found his enemy performing the most grotesque of tests on his fellow man. Angry and weaponized, he laid waste to his enemies.
The American government decided to pick up where their enemy left off. If advancements were to be made, America decided, it may as well be them who make them. Perriman is put in charge of a secret unit assigned to find the enemy. He knew other underground laboratories still existed, he knew they were attempting to complete their atrocities, he knew they still existed in numbers he chose not to admit. The fear of the mental incapacition of Man. These are the chronicles of what Perriman found and fought.

C.R. Defuoco grew up throughout the State of New York before entering the military directly after graduation at the age of 17. After serving six years in the USAF, where he earned the bulk of his education, he began writing short fiction and social point of view articles while becoming an accomplished chef of exotic foods. C.R. uses the experience he's gained from traveling the world and studying human behavior, to develop his artforms. He now lives between New Hampshire and Florida with his beautiful wife, taking life one day at a time.
