that sweet faint aroma

of grace upon grace

met with a touch of indifference

the truth shall set you free

but it might come with shackles

a promise of a new world

is met with a thousand eyes

each containing a glimpse

of a different story

heaven's a perspective

and hell is always lurking in the background

and what should the heathen expect 

when the demons whipser their sweet nothings

and all the saints and martyrs 

refuse to get off their pedestals
