Madness haunts my doorstep

singing her siren songs 

or muttering incantations

"Where is Mother Mary?" 

I could hear her ringing in my head

"I must be dead!"

came from an echo within

"I could feel her singeing my skin!

It must be a sin."
She muttered her sweet nothings

only for the clear minds 

who don't need signs

for their reasons why"
sang the echo from within.
