Anna was running over.  Glancing at my watch, I sighed.  Eight minutes late.  At least she was smart and changed into sport shorts, tank top, and sneakers.  Those pajamas she had been wearing were far too inadequate.  Stopping in front of me, her smile grew.  “You’re late.”
That smile faded.  “You gave me ten minutes!”
“Plenty of time.” 
“For you maybe.  I didn’t have time to put on my makeup.”  She didn’t need it.  Though, with her glaring at me, and the upcoming workout, makeup would’ve been pointless.
