Adaptability. It’s a simple word meaning capable of becoming suitable to a particular situation or use. A simple word, yet not such a simple feat.

Research suggests that people often view themselves as more adaptable than they might actually be. Most of us aspire to master noble behaviours such as adaptability and thus evaluate ourselves on how we intend to act rather than on how we do act. Unfortunately, our actions do not always match our intentions. We need to nurture our self-esteem and develop self-awareness based on reality, not delusion.
