A cold wind blew against Kara’s face, causing goose-bumps to erupt on her arms. She crossed them, pulling them against her body. The sun had set fast and there was barely any light; however, there had been enough to allow her to examine the horrific apartment literally located in another world – a world that had long been forgotten by the majority of the population on Earth. While an intriguing find for some despite the barren landscape devoid of trees and anything alive,  all this world was to her was a desolate location that had kept Ethen hostage for months. She wondered how long it would haunt him.
