It's not hard for me

to have a grating day,

I push back enough,

wouldn't call myself

an optimist, but I

find it just as ridiculous

to sit and wait for things

to go wrong.

 

It's often on account

of vicious men

and

vicious women,

or

dumb men

and

dumb women,

usually

some combination

thereof,

floating, swarming

waiting to strike and

inject their petty

trivial spit into

my mind, your mind,

hell,

everybody’s mind

at the first

opportunity.

 

They can't get to me

most days,

I wouldn't call myself

formidable, but I

have seen my share

of hearta...
