An Abstract Impact Without A Diagnosis

the world stopped,

fallen to its knees awaken to become 

sentenced in a silence with no whispers heard

the shadows wince, all tremble in fear

to that command unspoken but heard

be still. then nothing followed in demand

silence that deafened and for many days

many sat there their eyes looking up

for a hand from God, like divine intervention,

opened like the mind once padlocked shut

we awaited in suspense

but not another word ever transpired

a falsified memory that never happened

the yesterdays came when no-one expected threatening tomorrows

unseen, untasted yet, unsatisfactory; injust;

abstract.
