Eden Medical was a beehive of activity, as it was virtually any day, at any hour. Waiting rooms overflowed. Nurses, orderlies, and doctors darted from room to room, navigating waters thick with the needy. Names and numbers were called out over the intercom with barely any pause between them. And those pauses were almost always occupied by instructions for one staff member or another to go to some department or another.

In the organized confusion, no one paid them any mind; a fairly uncommon expectation for uniformed Unit 1, but a welcome one nonetheless.
