Danny and Andra were working together against Miranda, and their fight had been going on for a while.

This woman was truly dangerous. She didn’t look like she was breaking a sweat for even a bit whereas Andra’s face was already bleeding and bruising everywhere, and Danny’s condition was even worse.

They resumed their fight, but she was too tough, and good at taking opportunity, which she did when Danny lost his footing because of the hard cough that spit blood out of his mouth. She grabbed him, and encircled her hands tightly around Danny’s throat.

Andra, who saw his gun lying nearby, grabbed it, and leveled it at them.

“Take your shot, Detective. We’re both just thugs, right?” Miranda taunted.

Hesitating, Andra kept his gun, but he couldn’t do anyth...
