Ina kept watching the calm waters. Wilder could see the blue sky and sparkles of sunlight from the sea reflected in her dark irises.

"What's on your mind?" He asked.

"Something's been nagging at me for a while now," she said, voice low.

"Like?" Wilder prompted.

"I go through phases. A few months or a year where I sleep dreamlessly. Another stretch of time where the dreams pile up like leaves on a forest floor, one after the other, almost    indistinguishable after a time. But the past few weeks, it's been different. It's been all the same."

"Same what?"

"The same dream. And it never ends," Ina said, finally looking at Wilder. A slight breeze came throug...
