Chapter 15

“Thou shalt bring them in,

and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance,

in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in,

in the Sanctuary, O LORD, which thy hands have established.”

As both Nathaniel’s senses and his memories began reporting in, he resisted waking up, trying to remain in the blissful ignorance of sleep. Dryness crept up in his throat, his skin ached from cracked and blistering sores, his stomach grumbled with hunger, and above all of this was the overbearing memory of how far they still had to go.
