Tryin’ to Reason with Hurricane Season

     My normal writing process usually begins with an idea or observation, a title and a loose semblance of something that resembles an outline.  I then sit down at the computer, type out the title (if I have a working one) and then the first line or two and then follow the piece to its conclusion.  At least that’s how they normally play out.  With that being said and with June marking the beginning of Hurricane season, I thought I would share with you a piece I wrote on September 10, 2017 after watching a couple of hours of the Weather Channel’s coverage of Hurricane Irma.  It was something I absolutely HAD to get down on paper immediately before I lost it.  I hope you enjoy….
