Mama woke Cecily up before dawn the next morning.  She sat up with a jolt and realized what the day was, her dreaded wedding day.  She would give anything to be anywhere but here.

     As she rubbed her eyes awake, Dat, her younger sisters, Sarah, Grace, and Joy, along with her brothers, Caleb, Isaiah, Jeremy, and Daniel, all ran into her room, laughing, giggling, celebrating.  Cecily wanted to vomit.  All the kids were jumping on her bed around her, except for Caleb, who was her older brother, and on the floor.
