It was our first evening in Santorini and we were on the hunt for the perfect sunset location. Following the main walkway, we came across an adorable white puppy perched atop a barrier wall. He was eager to get our attention, but with one quick bark, he disappeared.

Around the bend, the path led down to the cliffs, where people crowded along the water’s edge. On the left, the entrance to a small boutique. On the right, a stone fence where the shopkeeper set her wares on display. A young tourist posed near the entrance, her friends taking endless photos and blocking others from passing.
