ecently I discovered that

there is another Earth

on the opposite side of

the known universe

where the me that lives there

is not nearly as afraid today

as I am

because on that Earth

the adults protect their children

from evil

they never normalized it

because on that Earth

the parents don't pass down

their hate down through

the next generation

like it is an eye color

or an antique shot glass

on that Earth

fear and blood aren't the

price of doing business

with freedom and liberty

on that Earth

people don't shrug

while passing by a

a schoo...
