as the universe cooled from it's firey birth

all of the newborn stars were chattering about the adventure ahead of them

 a little red star had one question for God though 

"What happens when our light burns out?" 

God turned a nebula into a megaphone and said "Supernova." 

"What's that?" a baby star asked. 

"You'll become 100 million times brighter and then explode." 

the stars grew silent and started quivering 

"Fear not, my lovely ones," God said from the back of a streaking comet 

"Why shouldn't we be afraid?" a brave little yellow star asked from the middle of the Milky Way "We don'...
