Tom was so shaken he pulled into the nearest parking lot and screeched the SUV to a halt. “What in creation do you think you were doing back there? Are you trying to kill us both?”

“You made a choice to go through the red light in spite of the dangers. What if you’d hit a car and someone had been killed, maybe a child? Would you have been responsible?” Arrin asked.

“You were holding a laser to my head! I had no choice!”
