Aluna’s visit lasted several hours during which they ate cake and Arrin showed her the house and even played the piano for her; something he never would’ve done for anyone else.
Aluna was impressed with everything, but especially with his piano playing. “I’m so glad I didn’t know how talented you were before I performed brain surgery on you. It would’ve made me nervous to know so much was at risk.”
Arrin smiled. “I’m sure I was never at risk in your capable hands.”
“He has a photographic memory too,” said Elizabeth as proudly if she were bragging on her own child.
