Tom continued to the room with Aluna and Arrin. He sat on the windowsill and watched as Aluna helped Arrin into bed and pulled up the blankets, afterward kissing him on the cheek as if she were putting a small child to sleep for the night.

“I’ll be back to check on you again in the morning.” She patted him twice on the shoulder before she left.

So far Tom hadn’t seen anything untoward occurring between Arrin and Dr. Chung, although Dr. Chung had seemed to show a bit too much affection toward a patient. But maybe he was seeing more than was there because of Jay’s suspicions. Or was he being blind to the truth? What if he was blinded, but didn’t realize it? Would Arrin be able to manipulate him now without him realizing it?
