Pastor Willis was accustomed to Arrin’s rudeness by now, so it didn’t affect his mood or his smile. “Good morning to you too. We’ve all been worried about you, and have been praying for your recovery.”

“So Jay said, but I’m fairly certain Logan and Cody were instead praying I’d die. I also find it hard to believe you weren’t doing the same, since you sent me to Barumi, which is a death sentence to anyone who’s not enhanced.”
