Arrin drifted into a fitful sleep and had a nightmare about Tom, Seamus, and Jay hitting him on the head with hammers. He struggled awake, but his head still felt as if his three guard companions had used hammers on it and his nausea was worse. He crawled out of bed and barely managed to make it to the toilet before he lost the contents of his stomach.

Shivering from a high fever he stumbled back to bed and burrowed under his blankets. But a few minutes later he threw the blankets off, burning up. He tossed and turned for hours, alternately shoving off and pulling up his blankets until he managed to slip into a troubled sleep filled with horrific nightmares.
