Pastor Willis was in his mid-thirties with gray eyes and red hair. His interest in clones had been awakened at the age of ten when his parents had arranged to clone his favorite childhood pet, a black Scottish Terrier who’d been hit by a car and killed when still a puppy. The cloned dog had been so like yet unlike the original that from then on Willis had been obsessed by cloning. He read everything available on the subject, which was how he’d learned the Nephron government was looking for a planet to accept Arrin as an exile for life for his crimes, in return for a generous yearly stipend.
