Ghostly Encounter

This is a story about, Colleen, a young woman who met her husband oversea's during World War II. She comes to Canada near the end of the war with her young daughter. At first her mother-in-law disaproves of her and finds fault with everything she does. They move into an old house that appears to be haunted. Colleen is the first one to hear unusual noises and then objects start to move almost by magic. Who is moving things? Why is the little girl Susie talking to herself? Colleen and her new mother-in-law learn to work togeather and they both realize there is something weird going on.

Whistling Pines

Whistling Pines is a story about Charles who buys an old falling down acreage beside his uncle's quarter section. While he is cleaning out the bunglow he finds some unexpected things which include old journals. 

He meets Sam the beautiful young woman who is the constuction contaractor and trys to get up the nerve to ask her out.

Charles sees a light shining in the old bunk house at  twilight and sees a ghostly figure sitting on the door step. Charles decides to clean out the bunkhouse and when he enters the space is surpised to see the owners possessions still there undisturbed. It was like he had simply gone on a holiday and could easily return any days.
