S. Thomas Summers is the author of two books of poetry, Private Hercules McGraw and The Journals of Lt. Kendall Everly, both stories of the American Civil War and nominated for the Pushcart Prize. He is a teacher/professor of literature, writing, and philosophy at Wayne Hills High School in Wayne, NJ and Passaic County Community College in Paterson, NJ.
