A trip down memory lane..
Since passing the four decade mark, I spend more time thinking about yesterday, times gone by, the way things used to be in the “good old days”. I’ve become my parents; someone who longs for a time when I was younger, when my bones didn’t creak, when my brain was more flexible, when anything seemed possible and there was a lifetime ahead of me. When things were simpler. When things were safer. When things were better. When things were slower.
I’m now older than professional athletes who have retired, coworkers and my boss. There’s a generational gap at work and I’m in unchartered territory.
