No Vacancy is a collection of humorous personal essays. Each essay is independent of each other, but together the collection weaves an autobiographical tapestry, at times sad, bizarre, and deeply personal. No skeleton in her closet is safe.
Lisa tackles subjects including grand conspiracies, generation gaps, memory loss, aging, nostalgia, modern technology, Corporate America, airline industry, affairs, addiction, unorthodox relationships, male species, and female anatomy, to name just a few.

I'm a technical writer in the Finance IT field by day, and a writer and poet by night. With a background in Psychology and Statistics, I've been working in the IT industry since 1994, previously as a system developer, business systems analyst, and process reengineer.
I'm a technical writer in the Finance IT field by day, and a writer and poet by night. With advanced degrees in Psychology and Statistics, I've been working in the IT industry since 1994, previously as a system developer, business systems analyst, and process reengineer. I'm an active golfer in the NCGA, an avid New York Yankee and San Francisco Giants baseball fan, and a Film Noir buff.
I'm the author of two other popular series on Channillo: No Vacancy, a collection of humorous personal essays, and A Touch of Noir, a collection of short stories written in “noir” style. All of Me, my latest series on Channillo, is a collection of poetry. I've scribed two series on Wattpad: Bits and Pieces and Hues. My poems are featured daily on Scriggler, Spillwords, Medium, Virily, and Vocal. In 2016, three poems were published in the anthology Poets Across Borders, available at amazon.co.uk.​​ I have three titles on Amazon (+Kindle), Barnes and Noble (+Nook), iBooks and Kobo. My Channillo series, A Touch of Noir, was updated to include 6 additional new tales (not available in Channillo version)! I'm also a freelance writer on Blastingnews.
